Greg Spafford

Managing Director

Greg Spafford is the founding principal and Managing Director of Pavilion Business Services. The bulk of Greg’s business experience has been in the UK and Europe and he was a resident in London UK for over 20 years.

As a proven leader with more than 30 years of international experience in the business management and consulting fields, Greg has honed his keen business insight with the gristmill of experience.

Greg has developed and implemented effective business strategies and programs for some of the worlds leading organizations, including: British Airways, Pitney Bowes, Herman Miller, Steelcase Strafor, DEGW Architects, Financial Times of London, IBM, International Factors, Barclays Bank, National Research Council of Canada (NRC), to name a few.

Greg provides a strong commitment and personal drive to assist companies in maximizing the effectiveness, profitability, and benefits of owning their business.


Christoper Roberts - Pavilion Business Services

Christopher Roberts

Christopher has extensive business management experience in the printing and graphic design industry, including work in Bermuda where his expertise was applied to the development of a successful printing company.

Christopher is the recipient of the Abbotsford Chamber of Commerce’s Business Excellence Award for Customer Service Excellence – Employee, in 2007.

Presently, Christopher is a Director for the Chilliwack Chamber of Commerce and the Abbotsford Chamber of Commerce, past director of the Mission Regional Chamber of Commerce and is on the board of the Xa:ytem Interpretive Center’s Business Resource Committee. In addition, Christopher was inducted into the Abbotsford Rotary Club in October of 2006.

Christopher holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Guelph in Ontario as well as a degree in Business Management from Ryerson University (Toronto).

Currently, Christopher resides in Chilliwack, B.C. with his wife Brenda. Among his hobbies are growing orchids, painting, sculpting, print making and drawing. He also enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking, fishing and camping.


Paul Cross - Pavilion Business Services

Paul Cross

Paul spent the first 8 years of his professional life in the clothing industry of London and Milan. He arrived in Canada in 1994, changing his career direction into audio and video communications for a major electronics outlet. Focusing on the explosion of the telecommunications industry, Paul has spent the last 10 years managing corporate wireless solutions, data and GPS solutions on behalf of Clearnet Wireless, and TELUS Mobility.

For the past 4 years, Paul has been working with investors, public relations, and building partnerships with the focus of business strategy and development. He has more than 15 years experience in business communications, building new corporate divisions, and assisting businesses’ plan and execute their exit strategies.

Paul lives in Abbotsford with his wife, Kelly, and 2 boys. In his spare time, he enjoys downhill mountain biking and involvement with innovative start-up companies.


Laird Robertson

As the Alberta connection, Laird’s over 30 year experience spans operations, marketing, market development, organisational excellence, and business unit management.

Laird’s early years were spent across Canada in the advertising world concluding as Account Director and Strategist with FCB/RR Toronto and Vancouver. Crossing the floor to client side, Laird developed and implemented highly effective strategy, marketing and communications for Cara Operations (Swiss Chalet), Robin Hood Multifoods (Franchise Division), and LePage Adhesives. Returning west, Laird consulted to industry, government and First Nations and did stints with NMI Mobility, now part of Bell Mobility, and the operators of Rent-A-Wreck car rental system.

Laird was an integral player in the internationally recognised successful creation of a highly profitable Stationery Business Unit within LePage and orchestrated the globally unprecedented successful launch of Pritt adhesive and correction rollers in Canada.

As a true-value marketer and people-centric leader, Laird is adept at building corporate foundation and nurturing culture change. Volunteer time is spent on the Loans Review Committee for Canadian Youth Business Foundation (CYBF) and as a director with the Synergy Network Business Breakfast Club.

On the personal front he relishes time in the mountains with family and friends and touring western Canada. Outdoor life includes hiking, biking, camping, cross country skiing, running and coffee on the patio. Laird is married and has two teenage daughters – one a globe trotter!
